• If you answered yes to any of the above, then consider joining the Rim Debate Team. Each year our team competes in six High School  Public Debate Program league tournaments and the National Championships, held at Claremont McKenna College.

Joining Rim Debate will provide you with a great opportunity to learn how to think on your feet, formulate your own opinions, and speak in public. Studies also show that students involved in debate consistently display higher levels of critical thinking skills and tend to score better on standarzied test. It's no wonder that being on a debate team is a terrific addition to your resume and a lot of fun.

Need some college money?  Then sign-up for The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program.  The contest will be held Thursday December 8 in Room 120.  Sign-up by Monday Nov. 28 by calling Nick Nerio at 337-1125 or 838-3026.  Or stop by the AP’s office for more information.
