Welcome Back Rim High School!!!

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope the summer break was restful and rejuvenating for all of our students, staff, and families. This year we look to build on the successes from last year, as we continue to strive to make Rim the absolute best place it can be. As we look forward to the new school year we look to instill P.R.I.D.E in everything we do. This means our students will be:

● Positive - A positive force within society

● Ready - Prepared for the next step of their life journey

● Involved - An integral member of their community

● Determined - Focused with grit to succeed in their endeavors

● Excellent - A model for people everywhere

As a school, we focus on our core purpose first: providing a high-quality education to ALL of our students. In recent years RHS has made significant changes in developing high-quality educational programs for our students. At the core of this movement is our Professional Learning Communities. This year we are very excited to start at the beginning of the school year and continue them throughout spring break 2025. This time helps our teachers to work collaboratively to build the very best educational programs possible for our students focusing on rigor and providing equal access for all of our students.

We also know that educating the whole student is also of paramount importance. At Rim, we are committed to providing a wide array of extracurricular opportunities for our students. As such, we have developed top-tier athletic teams, robust (and growing) visual and performing arts programs, a well-developed ASB club structure, as well as long-standing community partnerships to provide as many opportunities as possible for each and every student. In so many ways Rim competes against and rises above schools multiple times our size.

We are looking to make Rim of the World, the best possible place to serve our students and community as a whole. We are fortunate to have a dedicated and talented staff, a deeply connected community, and a student body that shines. It is an absolute honor and privilege to be on this journey with all of you! If you are in need of assistance with anything this year, please reach out!

Go Scots!!!!!
