Page 2: Upcoming Events Important Dates: Modified Minimum School Dates: October 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, 2025. MPH Intermediate School will have early dismissals on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 1:05 pm. On Wednesday, October 8th, the school will observe a regular minimum day at 2:15 pm due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. On October 13th, this is a Student Non-Attendance Day. The School Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 16th, and the Saturday Academy will be held on October 25th. Fall Digital Citizen Week will be held in one of the two weeks, October 13th to 24th, 2025. October 31st, a non-attendance day for students.

We're collecting candy and Halloween-themed, non-food treats (such as glow sticks, stickers, pencils, and small toys) to make LAE's Trunk or Treat magical for every child. Page 10: East Valley SELPA: 3rd Annual Parent Resource Fair: October 17th, 2025. Raffles, Resources, and Refreshments. Celebrating 50 years of the idea. If you are a superstar with special needs at home, navigating community resources can be a daunting task. The East Valley Selpa is hosting a resource fair to help, offering valuable connections to ease your parenting journey. SELPA Community EVENT: The SELPA 3rd Annual Resource Fair is coming up! This event brings together community organizations and service providers to share resources and information that support students and families. Attendees will have the chance to explore information booths, connect with local agencies, and learn about services available in our area. This is a great opportunity for families to discover tools and supports that can help students thrive both inside and outside of school.

Page 12: Community Program: RIMREC-Youth Basketball: Registration Opens 10/1 and closes on 12/1. Practices start in December 2025. Games start in January 2026. About the Program: This program and league are designed to teach and strengthen basketball skills in a fun, supportive, and recreational environment. Key areas of focus include sportsmanship, teamwork, building confidence, and improving focus, core values that help young athletes grow both on and off the court.
Our Instructors & Volunteers: To build a stronger program, participants ages 5-7 will join Little Hoopers, an introductory basketball program led by trained professional coaches through RIMREC Youth Basketball League. For children aged 8-14, volunteer coaches are crucial in forming teams and creating a positive experience. We're currently seeking volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents.
