Page: Saturday Academy This Saturday, November 15th. Saturday Academy will be held at all school sites this coming Saturday, November 15th
from 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the following schools: CHE, VOE, LAE, MPH, and RHS. To participate, you must have completed registration by Wednesday, November 12th, 2025. Breakfast & Lunch will be provided. Please note: School transportation will not be available. Saturday School provides students with a valuable opportunity to make up for missed learning time and remove one absence from their attendance record. Page: Dear Families & Staff, Let’s Stay Informed! This is a friendly reminder- The ROWUSD School Board Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 20th, 2025.

Page: How will I Pay for College? Let's Break It Down. You are invited to join RIM High School in presenting: Financial Aid Night. Help! How do I pay for College or Trade School? Financial Aid Information Night Presented by: Cal Baptist University. Date: Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held at RIM High School Library. Workshop Highlights: 1) Learn about financial aid opportunities, 2) Question and Answer Opportunities, and 3) Application help available. Who should attend? Seniors, however, all students and families are invited and will help you plan. The FAFSA and CA Dream Act applications have opened for the 26/27 application year. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about valuable resources to support your college education! Please email any questions to Lisa_Mills@rimsd.k12.ca.us. Hosted by Rim of the World High School. Page: VOE: VOE’s First Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Join VOE’s first annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! If you are a family in need of help this Thanksgiving, please let VOE know by using the link below. VOE’s goal is to provide a meal to every student in need this year, as well as a grocery store gift card so that families can purchase a turkey or other perishable items. The PTA cannot purchase gift cards. If possible, please drop off the gift cards in the front office. Food Drive-Non-perishable food items can be dropped off in the designated collection boxes at VOE and Goodwin's from November 3rd to November 17th. We are looking to collect the following non-perishable items: (Please no expired drugs): Canned cranberry sauce, canned gravy, canned corn, canned green beans, canned soup, canned yams, chicken broth, corn bread mix, grocery store gift cards, instant potatoes, mac and cheese, stuffing mix, and shelf-stable dessert. The PTA is unable to purchase gift cards. We would love to be able to gift each family a grocery store gift card so they can purchase perishable items. If you are a family in need at Enchantment Elementary, please reach out using the QR code. Submissions remain confidential between the family and admin.
Page: Page: CHE Presents Sees Candy Yumraiser. The fundraiser is open from November 4 to December 5. Funds raised will go towards the Spring Academy. Scan the QR code to reach the See's storefront. Items will be shipped directly to you. Shipping rates may apply.
Page: LAE: Leader in Me Service Project: Support our Troops! October 21st through November 22nd, 2025. At LAE, kindness is in action! LAE's staff and students are kicking off their community service project, a Leader in Me initiative focused on being Proactive and giving back to those who serve our country. LAE is partnering with our local Blue Star Moms to collect donations for care packages that will be sent to members of our armed forces during the holidays. We’re asking families to contribute individually wrapped items—and to think creatively about what might brighten a soldier’s day! Donations can be sent with your student or dropped off at the school office. Please ensure that all items are labeled “For the Troops.” A few donation ideas include: Candy, Pretzels, Cookies, Top Ramen, Protein bars, Earbuds, Toiletries, and Notes of Gratitude. Let’s show our troops how much we appreciate their service.
Page: San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Presents a Turkey Giveaway # 1. You must register for this Turkey Giveaway (available to the first 500 families to register). This posting or distribution of written materials does not indicate District endorsement of the content of the materials, or the organization, group, company, agency, or individuals associated with the material or body text. Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. November 22nd, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm. Scan the Code to register. The first 500 registrants will receive a free turkey and dinner box. We have enough turkeys for 800 families, so register today. Must be registered to participate.
Page: San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Presents Free Thanksgiving Community Turkey Giveaway #2. I.E., ReBound, Arrowhead United Way, and Children's Fund: Invites you to our Free Thanksgiving Community Turkey Giveaway. Saturday, November 22nd, from
9 am to 1 pm. Location: Arrowhead United Way: 646 N. "D", San Bernardino, CA 92401. Turkeys will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. Partners: Amazon Fresh, and 5th District Supervisor, Joe Baca, Jr.
Page: SPED: Parent Advisory Board (PAB). There are only 2 semi-annual meetings per year. The first meeting will be held virtually on December 9th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. To promote communication between parents of District Students with Disabilities and District Professional staff and administration to address parent concerns and to discuss issues relating to students with disabilities attending school within the district. To provide an open forum at the scheduled PAB meetings, where issues can be raised, suggestions for change and/or improvement can be discussed, and recommendations for action can be made regarding the provision of special education and Section 504 services to the district's students with disabilities. We need 9 voting members. 1) Two parents of students with disabilities who are enrolled in District schools or in private schools located in the District. 2) One parent of a student without disabilities who is enrolled in a District school. 3) One student/adult with disabilities who resides in the District. 4) One general education teacher employed by the District. 5) One special education teacher employed by the District. 6) One of the District staff members, 7) One representative of another public or private agency that serves the district. 8) One resident of the District who is concerned with the needs of students with disabilities. The District will make all attempts to fill the positions as suggested.
