Welcome Back from Spring Break! We are excited to have everyone back and look forward to a great rest of the school year together!
With only 40 school days remaining, this time of year quickly fills with exciting events and activities.
As we move into spring, our calendars start ramping up with field trips, musical performances, student activities, testing, graduations, spring open houses, and our TK and Kindergarten Round-Ups, and so much more.
We want to be sure you don’t miss out on these wonderful opportunities to engage, celebrate, and support our students.
 Below is a list of important events happening this week and in the near future. Please take a moment to mark your calendars.

Page: Summer ELOP (Expanded Learning Opportunities Program) Summer Program for TK-6th Grade Students. Locations: Charles Hoffman Elementary (CHE) and Valley of Enchantment (VOE). School Bus Transportation provided for LAE Students ONLY! CHE and VOE will need to be Dropped off & Picked up. Session 1:  June 17th to June 30th; Session 2: July 1st to July 14th; and Session 3: July 15th to July 28th. Options:  Half day is from 8 am to 12 noon, and Full day is from 8 am to 5 pm.  Rim of the World Unified is excited to announce our Summer Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). This summer program will be open from June 17th to July 28th, 2026. The summer program will be offered in 3 unique sessions with half-day and full-day options. Breakfast, lunch, & afternoon snacks will be provided. This no-cost program will be on-site at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School (VOE) and Charles Hoffman Elementary School (CHE). 
Transportation will be available to and from Lake Arrowhead Elementary School for LAE-enrolled students to access this program at CHE. 
Summer ELOP is open to students currently in grades TK-6th. Enrollment is first-come, first-served. Availability in the program is contingent on current enrollment numbers and staffing. Waitlists may be utilized if necessary. The submission of this completed application is not a guarantee of enrollment. Page: MPH PTA-Make Your Mark on MPH 8th Grade Tile Project. During lunch periods this week, the 8th graders will be "Making their Mark on MPH" by personalizing a Tile to display at the school's front entrance. We need a couple of helpers each day just to help set up, clean up, and assist with the students. Parent Volunteers-We Need You! PTA is hosting an exciting 8th-grade Tile project: 'Make Your Mark on MPH' to be displayed in the front lobby of the school. Tiles are $25 each (max 4 per student).  We need a few parents to assist our 8th graders during lunch periods each day this week after Spring Break. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Spanish-speaking families to learn more about AP, SAT, and other College Board resources that help students plan for life after high school. Connect with your future. This special event, conducted in Spanish, focuses on strengthening relationships with Spanish-speaking families. Practical strategies and resources will be shared to help families support their students' success. Join us on April 20th for a virtual special event in Spanish to receive updates on College Board programs and services and get ready to support your students.  A recent recipient of the BigFuture Scholarship and a parent will join us to share their experience using BigFuture as a tool to help students and their families plan for postsecondary education.  Advanced Placement Program: The Advanced Placement Program allows students who are willing and academically prepared to undertake university-level studies while they are still in high school. Page: Community Program Rim of the World Recreation and Park Division-Registration for Youth Flag Football is now open on the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District website at www.rim-rec.org! Boys and girls ages 6-13 are invited to join this fun, inclusive program designed for all skill levels. Participants will take part in the NFL Flag Football Program, and each player will receive an official NFL jersey and flag belts. The season runs from June 3 to July 10, including playoffs and the exciting “Super Bowl” championship games. Games are held on Wednesday and Friday evenings. For more information and to register, visit the Park District website today! Registration is now open for youth flag football. Registration is 3/30 to 5/15. Boys & Girls ages 6-13. Offers inclusivity, promotes fitness, teaches teamwork, introduces football, and instills sportsmanship. The season runs from 6/3 to 7/10, including playoffs and the Super Bowl championship games. Each session is held over 2 weeks (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday). Daily Pool Safety Time. Family Swim Day Included, Nine Swim Levels for all Abilities. Cada sesión se lleva a cabo durante 2 semanas (lunes, martes, jueves y viernes).

Incluye un Día de Natación Familiar.
Nueve niveles de natación para todas las habilidades.
Ubicado en Crestline, en la piscina de Thousand Pines.
Los lugares se asignan por orden de llegada, según el orden en que se reciba el formulario de inscripción completo junto con el pago total. Comenzaremos a aceptar inscripciones el 1 de abril de 2026.
